So the idea was that i would make a new ship that was just a massive carrier and have all 10 fighter squads to mining fighters but i cant get the AI to use the fighters to mine. So Ive gathered that to create a player station you have to recruit a Captain then make a ship from the shipyard. I was wondering if that is how you also setup AI mining. I realize that they dont continue mining if you leave the sector, but Im just hoping to get a firm grasp on the mechanics of A Another update, this time i told the AI to buy 4000 ore from my station then sell 4000 in another sector.
